Kochadaiyaan Heroine Confirmed

Soundarya Rajinikanth has confirmed that it will be Deepika Padukone pairing up with her dad Rajinikanth in Kochadaiyaan. There were rumors that Katrina Kaif would play the female lead in this film but now the role has gone to Deepika.
Interestingly, Deepika was roped in for Rana last year but the project was halted after Rajini’s health conditions deteriorated. He was later hospitalized and regained his health, it is worth mentioning here.
Rana has now been put on hold and Soundarya Rajinikanth decided to direct Kochadaiyaan with her dad playing the lead role. KS Ravi Kumar, the director of Rana, is penning the story, screenplay and dialogues for this film.

Selva recently announced that Harris will compose for his upcoming film Irandam Ulagam. “It’s true that I am going to work with Harris for Irandam Ulagam. We practically grew up together since our houses were in adjacent streets. I am sure it will be a different experience,” Selva was quoted as saying.

The massive response for 7aum Arivu has compelled the distributors in the US to increase the number of screens. The latest we hear is that the film with English subtitles will be screened in three more AMC locations – 2 in New Jersey and 1 in Illinois.
7aum Arivu is being screened in North America in all Big Cinemas, Cinemark and AMC locations. The increase in screens will make sure that the film reaches out to more number of audiences.
